This Agreement governs the use of the digital file (EPUB) purchased directly from the Justin Fox Author website (www.justinfoxauthor.com).

1. Grant of License (Personal Use)

1.1. Upon completion of payment, the Purchaser is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the Purchased Digital File for personal, private reading use only.

1.2. This purchase grants the Purchaser a license to use the content; it does not convey ownership of the copyright or the intellectual property contained within the work.

2. Copyright and Intellectual Property

2.1. The text, content, and design of the Purchased Digital File are protected by Australian and international copyright law. All rights are reserved to the author, Justin Fox.

2.2. The Purchaser agrees not to modify, adapt, translate, rent, sell, or create derivative works based upon the Purchased Digital File without the express written permission of the author.

3. Prohibited Use (No Sharing)

3.1. The Purchaser is strictly prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or transmitting the Purchased Digital File, or any substantial portion of the file, to any third party by any means, including but not limited to:

• Sending the file via email or messaging apps.

• Uploading the file to file-sharing websites, torrents, or public servers.

• Printing the content for commercial use or distribution.

4. Social DRM & Accountability Disclosure

4.1. The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the purchased digital file includes a digital watermark (Social DRM) that embeds identifying information related to the purchaser (including the name, email address, and transaction ID) within the file’s metadata.

4.2. This watermark is non-intrusive to the reading experience but serves as a means of tracing the source of any unauthorized file distribution. By completing the purchase, the Purchaser consents to this watermark.

5. Termination

5.1. The license granted under this Agreement will automatically terminate if the Purchaser breaches any of the terms outlined herein. Upon termination, the Purchaser must delete all copies of the Purchased Digital File.
